Dear friends,
Rainbow Sangha Ireland embraces individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, those who are curious or exploring their identities, and with a strong commitment to honouring inclusivity and cultural diversity.
We warmly welcome people of all identities, cultures, and countries, as well as those from various traditions or none. You do not have to be Irish or live in Ireland to join us.
We meet online via Zoom on the first Sunday of every month from 6pm - 7.30pm (Irish Standard Time).
The last half hour is an informal and optional time to chat and socialise together. Check your corresponding timezone here.
We practice meditation in the Plum Village Tradition, founded by Thích Nhất Hạnh (“Thầy”), a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, poet, and peacemaker. Open to all traditions or none, we welcome diversity and inclusivity.
Thầy introduced mindfulness to the West and inspired the creation of sanghas—practice communities where people gather to meditate, learn, and deepen their mindfulness.
Our online sangha is a dedicated space for those identifying as LGBTQIA+ or questioning, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and cultural diversity. Occasionally, we collaborate with ally sanghas to foster broader connections.
We provide orientation and instruction on the Plum Village practices. Please feel free to ask us any questions via email.
We keep your information solely for the purpose of contacting you about our sangha and events related to our sangha.
